“And there was light!” Franz Josef Haydn’s oratorio, The Creation, presents the radiant vision of creation found in Genesis. Featuring the Festival Orchestra, Festival Chorus and Soloists, Haydn’s music explores the full spectrum of human emotions with melodic inventiveness, grandeur, and majesty.
